Ferry services are operated by the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company

IOM Public Transport
Bus services on the Island are provided by Bus Vannin and cover all the main population areas.
Printed time tables - which include comprehensive route maps and town plans showing the location of bus stops - are available from the Welcome Centre in the Sea Terminal in Douglas and the Information Desk at the airport, as well as at local tourist information centres and main railway stations.

and telephone enquiries can be made on 01624 662525 from 08.00 to 18.00 (Mon-Sat) and 09.00 to 14.00 on Sundays.
Separate bus timetables operate for weekdays, Saturdays and Sundays/Bank Holidays. When roads are closed for motor cycle racing (TT, Manx Grand Prix and racing on the Billown Circuit -near Castletown) bus services may be subject to suspension or re-routing.
There is no main bus station on the Island but most services to areas outside Douglas run from Lord Street – a few minutes walk from the Sea Terminal. There is a 20 minute daytime frequency service between Douglas/Onchan and the Airport with buses continuing to Castletown and Port Erin.
Isle of Man Steam Railway, Manx Electric Railway and Snaefell Mountain Railway timetables are also included in the printed timetable, but it should be noted that the railway services are seasonal and that reduced services are operated early and late season.

The Manx Electric Railway runs from Derby Castle at the north end of Douglas Promenade to Laxey and Ramsey. - Island Explorer tickets are available for 1,3,5 or 7 days and cover buses, trains and Douglas Horse trams. One child can travel free for each adult ticket purchased.
- Heritage Explorer tickets are valid for 5 days and include admission to Manx National Heritage sites.
- Saver 1 day tickets (bus only) can be purchased on board buses for travel on the day of purchase
- UK Bus passes and Railcards are not valid in IOM.
